Welcome to DIONs internet pages.
You can read more about us in the links under "About DION" in the top menu.
Our main focus is on local issues at NTNU and national issues regarding scholarship, work conditions, formalities and attracting new candidates. As we are an interest organization, our influence is on the political agenda and thus we have no influence on how to get employed as a research scholar at NTNU.
If you have comments, or ideas to issues DION should investigate, do not hesitate to contact us. Our e-mail address is for all members of the board. This is the easiest way to contact DION.
Would you like to receive information about meetings in DION and other things that are going on?
You can follow us at facebook, or join our e-mail list.

DION and NTNU welcome all NTNU PhD candidates to this month's ‘Last Wednesday'.
We will build upon the theme of the first event (Life after a PhD) and have presentations on starting up a business in Norway. We have invited Tom-Ivar Bern of Innovation Norway who will give a presentation titled: ‘Making ideas profitable - business start-up for sharp people'. In addition we have a presentation from NTNU Technology Transfer.
Do you want to better understand and interact with Norwegians? Perhaps this Tekna event is for you:
Norwegians follow unique norms and traditions when it comes to socializing and making new friends. This talk is a practical guide on how to get to know Norwegians, and why to do so. It will help you better understand the Norwegian social norms and habits, and how to adapt to them.
